GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Denver NCSY and Aish of the Rockies announced its second-annual Chanukah concert featuring Uri Davidi on Sunday, December 5, 2021. This year, the event will include the reveal of the World’s Largest Lego Dreidel.

The concert takes place from 6-8 pm on December 5 – the eighth night of Chanukah – in the parking lot next to Aish of the Rockies, located at 5101 S. Dayton Street in Greenwood Village. Tickets are $25 per car and attendees are welcome to join us at the front of the stage (bring your own lawn chair).

“You are going to see the largest Lego dreidel ever built in the history of mankind,” said Program Director of Denver NCSY and Youth Rabbi at Aish of the Rockies, Rabbi Yonatan Nuszen. “Over 300 kids and teens from Hebrew schools and Jewish clubs in the local Denver community happily gave their time and effort to construct the sections for the giant 30,000-piece dreidel. The 30,000 Lego pieces represent the 30,000 teens that NCSY works with worldwide every year. The finished dreidel will be assembled at the concert site, and unveiled during the concert.”

Rabbi Nuszen explained, “The goal is to create unity within the Jewish community. The Legos represent creating a connection, piece-by-piece, as we connect person-to-person. We strive to help people connect with each other, connect above and to connect to themselves at their highest potential. As each student connected the Lego pieces, they wrote on them how they want to connect the people within our community with good deeds that they plan to do.”

After the concert, the 30,000 Lego pieces used to build the giant dreidel will be disassembled, cleaned, packed into care packages, and donated to children in Colorado foster care and hospitals. In addition, when teens travel to Israel for their summer trips, they will take care packages with them to hand deliver to orphans in Jerusalem.

“We want to especially thank our donors and let them know just how much joy their generosity is bringing to the Chanukah celebration. This fabulous event is happening thanks to the help of special people who make all the difference to our community events. We all appreciate their efforts on the kids’ behalf and look forward to many more fun NCSY and Aish holiday events” said Rabbi Nuszen.

The featured performer of the concert will be Uri Davidi. Known as one of the most dynamic performers to have made their mark on the Jewish music scene over the last several years, Davidi wows audiences at weddings and concerts all over the world. The versatile singer is one of the most in-demand vocalists today.
